The facilitation skills requirement allows students to engage first-hand in group and individual expressive writing facilitating experiences while receiving one-on-one supervision.
Students enroll in the online class EW08 Facilitation Skills in order to complete this requirement.
All EWF students are required to complete a capstone project. The capstone project planning begins at the start of your training and the final product is due at the successful conclusion of all required coursework and facilitation skills experiences.
Students are automatically enrolled in the course EW00 Capstone Project (this course is free) when they are accepted into the certification program. EW00 Capstone Project provides full details and instructions for completing the capstone project.
All courses are online and presented in a module format. Each class is one module and each module has several lessons. Students work at their own pace to complete the work of the program. The EWF certificate program is typically completed within 10-14 months of enrollment.
CELA does not accept transfer credit for the EWF program. All courses must be completed through CELA.
